Yesterday at 8:49 pm I was profiled and discriminated against. I originally went to to buy a bag of coffee because the all Marsh markets closed and I didn't want to go into Wal-Mart and fight the crowds. A associate named Billie told me I had to leave my bag with her. She said it was a new policy and it's not posted anywhere. I've been going to this store for years to buy everyday things and get my prescriptions refilled and my child's. After seeing coffee was 7.99 I much rather give another competing store the 8 dollars, I grab my small black bag and left. I pulled up to the entrance because I saw a blonde femalw with NO visible tattoos nor facial piercing with a beach bag size purse. She didnt have to walk to the register to drop her bag off.She was not asked to leave her purse at the cash register because of the new policy. I also had my fiance in jeep with me and he witnessed it all. I Will no longer shop any walgreens and i advise other minorities who fear to be profiled and discriminated against avoid this store.

Due to new insurance regulations, I was forced to switch to Walgreen's from CVS...This is not a choice I would have made on my own. Several times now, I've had to go days without my medication, because of problems with the pharmacy. On one occasion, my prescription was lost due to a computer glitch... On a Friday. Medicine was unable to be filled until the following Tuesday. Several times, they have been completely out of my medicine. The staff is also impersonal and sometimes rude. Lucky for me, although important, this is not a life-sustaining medication! I would NOT recommend this pharmacy to anyone, ever.
